I myself feel that blogging gets better with time, and what used to take an entire week to write will slowly shorten once we know what’s involved. But yeah, if you constantly churn out content (or even play video games, for that matter) while forgetting to take care of yourself, things can definitely get a little dicey. Anyway, thanks for this post!

Thank you for reading! I have been blogging for four year on several different blogs and it does get easier the more you do it because when I started one post takes days which now only takes hours.

It sounds like your work-life balance is proving challenging.

I won’t pretend I know what’s best for you, but I can share a few things that help me when blogging or working:
    – I keep snacks and water at my desk so it’s easy to get what I need. I like cashews.
    – I sit on a yoga ball and I can bounce while typing. I’ve nearly met my step goal for today by bouncing and it helps my abs. (Your icon is of a person in a wheelchair, so I’m guessing that wouldn’t work so well for you.)
    – I used to use my TV time to quietly lift some small weights, but you guessed it, that ended before long. But maybe someone with more willpower could.

I do get tired from my full-time job and that means my blog doesn’t update as often as I would like. But the level of your fatigue sounds much greater. I’m concerned about you because this sounds like overwork. Of course, I’m not in your shoes and I don’t know the details. But try to take care of yourself, okay?

Oh, and may I ask how you got that counter of your monthly views in your sidebar? A client wants something like that for their WordPress site, but all the plugins I could find were ugly and/or inaccurate. I’d love to know the name of the tool you used!
