Your Privacy is important to us and here at Life with Spina Bifida, we respect your privacy! We strive to make sure that your experience is safe but secure so this privacy policy will outline what personal information we may collect and how we use it, and how I disclose information. This information only applies to this website and may be different for other websites.

Security– Providing a safe and secure environment is important to us! My website is being monitored for security breaches 24/7 but if for some reason there was a security breach and your information was compromised I would notify all of my subscribers. If you have subscribed to my blog Thank you! If at any point, you would like to be removed from my email list you have the freedom to do so. Simply just hit the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email and you will be removed from my email list.

Data Usage- When you comment or subscribe to my email list we may ask for information like a name and email. If you are uncomfortable with providing such information please do not comment or subscribe to my newsletter. I respect your privacy and all emails are kept confidential and are shared with no one. The only people who have access to these emails are myself and people on my team that I have given access to. I currently do not have a team so these emails are only made visible to me.

How we use your information- The personal information you provide is stored in our system indefinitely and will be kept until a user unsubscribes. The information you provide is used to send out emails to readers and allows them to make a comment but this personal information you provide is not used for anything else and is not shared or sold to an outside party without first getting permission.  Personal information will always be kept confidential and I will not sell or share your information unless you have committed a crime and I am required by law to do so.

Cookies are used to track visitors’ preferences, login information, or website visitors most recently visited so they can easily access them again. Working with brands/ Ads-  I run ads on my blog to help financially support my blog because it can get expensive run this blog. Whenever you click on my ads and make a purchase through them at no extra cost to you I will make a small commision that will take off some of the financial burden so I will be able to make my blog better. When a post is sponsored by an outside party and I am compensated for it I will always make known at the beginning of the post. Protecting your kids  Your child’s safety is important to us!  We do not collect any personal information from children under the age of 18. If you believe that your child has provided us with any personal information without my knowledge and you wish for them to be removed please contact me at and I will have them removed promptly.

Sensitive Information  It is never a good idea to submit sensitive information such as social security numbers, religious or political beliefs, and criminal backgrounds to this website. Submitting sensitive information on this website is not secure and could be lost. Sensitive information that is submitted through this website violates this privacy policy and I will not be responsible for any losses.

Responding to emails- I love connecting with my readers and the reason I started this blog is to have more connection! If you send me a personal email I will not share it with anyone and you consent to getting a response but expect it to take about a week before I get a chance to respond to you. If you don’t want an response please don’t messsage me because I will almost always give some sort of feedback. I do not respond to emails claiming cures or give out any sort of medical advice becausse I am not a doctor and that can be dangerous.

Comment Policy- On this blog we lift people up not tear them down so please keep all comments positive, encouraging, and uplifting! This is a kid-friendly blog and I will not approve any comments that use profanity or vulgar language or are made out of pure hate. Comments that have links in them will also not be approved unless I specifically state it is okay to drop your links. I am open to constructive criticism because I believe that can help make my blog better but if you choose to do that you have to be nice about because any comments that bring me or any of my readers down will not be approved. If something in a blog post has offended you please contact me privately and I would be more than happy to clear things up with you but don’t leave messages out of pure hate in the comments section because I won’t entertain it!
